Staff and Teams at Wellfield

The Practice Manager, reception and administration staff are here to help you make the best use of the services we provide. They attend initial and continued training programmes in order to provide an efficient and friendly service.
We believe that they have a difficult job! It is only with their help that the Doctors can organise their work and see as many patients as possible in the time available.
We welcome any suggestions for improving our services. If you have any ideas, questions or complaints, please speak to our Practice Manager, Ms Khadijah Taymiyyah.

Our Practice Nurses
Our Practice Nurses are actively involved in health promotion, cervical smears and the continuing care of diabetic and asthmatic patients. They are available for advice about stopping smoking and holiday vaccinations. Please make an appointment with the nurse for any of these services.

Midwives and Health Visitor

The surgery runs a weekly Baby Clinic for immunisations and developmental checks. Appointments are not needed and it is held from 1.30pm on Tuesdays.

The Health Visitor attached to the practice visits families at home and can be contacted at Cheetham Primary Care Centre.

The Community Midwives run a weekly antenatal clinic at the surgery.
